Temporary access restrictions are placed on Factiva due to recent excessive downloading activity

By Taran Dhillon on October 20, 2025

We want to inform you of a temporary restriction to Factiva access. Due to a reported case of excessive usage, users are currently limited to downloading only one article at a time.

Users in Business and related disciplines who rely heavily on Factiva for research, teaching, or data gathering may experience the most impact.  Please remember that most resources have limits on what can be downloaded during one session. Under our licensing agreement with Factiva, users may access, read, or download up to 100 articles per session.

We understand how critical this tool is for your work and are actively working with the vendor to resolve the issue swiftly. We recommend downloading documents gradually to avoid triggering further limitations as we continue to troubleshoot this issue. Please check the eresources news blog for more updates.
