Alumni Access to UBC Library Electronic Resources

We often get asked about Alumni Access to UBC Library Electronic Resources. Whether you are a UBC alum or a current student wondering about your future library resources access, here is some useful information:

UBC Alumni with an authorized Campus-Wide Login (CWL) and UBC Alumni A-Card can get remote access to many of UBC Library’s electronic resources.  You can sign up for a UBC Alumni A-Card in-person or online.

For UBC Sauder alumni, two of the most helpful resources they can access remotely include EBSCO Academic Source and Business Source alumni editions which have more than 4,150 full-text journals from many of the top academic and business publishers worldwide. For the ever-growing list of other library electronic resources you can access from off campus, check out this page.

Due to licensing terms, UBC Library is not able to provide alumni with remote access to all the online resources available to currently enrolled students.  Alumni can access these resources physically on campus at a public computer at David Lam Library or any UBC library branch.

The Library offers a range of services to UBC Alumni, including access to print and video collections, attractive spaces and assistance using our resources. We encourage you to visit us often and stay connected.
