UBC Library has a Trial for streaming video database: Academic Video Online. The trial will run until September 13, 2019 (we hope to extend it to the end of September). Please note that the database can be accessed ON CAMPUS only.
With over 68,000 films, Academic Video Online is one of the most comprehensive streaming video databases. It includes a variety of video material with curricular relevance: documentaries, interviews, feature films, performances, news programs and newsreels, demonstrations, and raw footage covering a wide range of subject areas. It has thousands of award-winning films, including Academy®, Emmy®, and Peabody® winners.
Academic Video Online covers many disciplines and subject areas, with over 6,500 titles in Business & Economics. You can either search by keyword or filter the results by subject. For example if you select Business as your subject, you can then narrow it down further such as Finance, Entrepreneurship, consumers, HR, ethics, and more.
