UBC library has recently upgraded our Ebsco subscription from Business Source Complete to Business Source Ultimate database. Our upgraded subscription includes over 65% additional full-text content compared to Business Source Complete, including important market and industry reports key to UBC management students and researchers.
Business Source Ultimate provides access to content in the areas of business and management. This database provides full-text access to scholarly, popular and trade journals, as well as indexing and abstracts for important scholarly business journals. Additional full text, non-journal content includes financial data, books, videos, company profiles, SWOT analyses, industry profiles, country reports, market research and case studies. Business Source Ultimate database is updated daily.

There are 1,375 unique titles in the upgraded version that the complete version does not contain. Also, the Ultimate version comes with all of the S&P Fortune 500 content with no embargo. Business students can delve into case studies, country economic reports, SWOT analyses and company profiles, as well as interviews with executives and analysts–the key players whose roles they are studying to fill. In addition, researchers can access the unique Company View feature, which provides industry specifics for over 1.1 million companies, worldwide. To round out research, supplemental access is provided for Regional Business News, with over 100 regional U.S. & Canadian business publications.
